Because my surname is the most common one on the planet, I often receive misdirected emails. Relatives who meant to write to Kevin Smith about the soccer tournament, or to Karen about the barbecue, or Keisha about a wedding. I often wonder what would happen if I accepted every invitation to every potluck (probably delicious things), but until then I thought I'd document my interactions with these complete strangers who I do try to point in the right direction, like a good Samaritan should.
